For Tante's farewell, she organized a little picnic for us all at the Dinosaur Caves, overlooking Shell Beach with a playground for the kids and bike path for the little man. And the days following Thanksgiving were filled with lots of activity with Mimi and Pops and cousin Noelani included Gingerbread house decorating, football watching, leftover turkey gumbo, visit to The Scottsdale Princess (where Mimi and Pops stayed) for their Christmas Celebration, train park, watching The Snowman from Mimi and Pops and just hanging out. This is a go-to recipe at our house. It's easy and delicious! And I get to use my crockpot.and I love my crockpot. Not pictured: hoagie buns. Zesty italian seasoning packet. Beer (whatever you have in your fridge). Put the chuck roast, beer, and Italian seasoning in the crockpot. You don't even have to mix it up.
