A medley of musings. Monday, January 5, 2009. I just opened my cupboard. Pulled out a glass, turned on my faucet and filled my glass with cold fresh water. I drank the water and my thirst was quenched. I didn't think much about it because it's something I experience quite regularly; every day, all day, in fact. This December, "dollar for a drink", raised 10,000 dollars to build a well in Sudan, so that a village there will now be able to experience.quenched thirst. Here's the link. Check it out.

Saturday, July 20, 2013. Some friends came to visit last week from Mississippi and I was shocked when they told me they didn't know what Italian Beef was. They don't know what they're missing! This is a go-to recipe at our house. It's easy and delicious! And I get to use my crockpot.and I love my crockpot. Not pictured: hoagie buns. Zesty italian seasoning packet. Beer (whatever you have in your fridge). Put the chuck roast, beer, and Italian seasoning in the crockpot. You don't even have to mix it up.
