Turns out it is really hard to live out of a backpack, traveling from one place to another every 2-4 days, without a computer, and still have time/accessibility to post updates and photos online. Adventures should include, but are not limited to:. Tequila Night in Mexico. Visit at least 1 PCV per country. Climb an Active Volcano. Swim in Lake Nicaragua. Get Lost in the Jungle and Survive by our Wits. Kick it with the ‘ Gente’. Looks like a good start. Today I'm grateful my entire life fits into one backpack!

To post daily summaries and highlights of the Central America adventure. They obviously won't be posted in a timely or consistant manner, but hopefully I can keep my mass posts sequential. It's a roughly 2 month journey from the jungles of the Darien to the chaos of Mexico City and then onto life in the US. Start Date: August 7, 2015.

Yesterday I looked at a calendar and realized that on the 21st of April I will have been there a year. Clearly, my concept of time is a little distorted! We were excited for his opportunity, but disappointed as it meant he wouldn’t be joining us as the third musketeer. A two-hour bus ride brought us to Hone Creek, home to a Costa Rica PCV who let us use her house, even though she wasn't there. We dropped our bags then went to the grocery store- our first test in managing the local currency, colones.
