Jan Blurr's World: Almost forgotten along the way: H2O
http://janblurr.blogspot.com/2008/07/almost-forgotten-along-way-h2o.html
Monday, 14 July 2008. Almost forgotten along the way: H2O. See, this is what happened to me and H2O. And now after more than 10 years I got my hands on their latest record "Nothing To Prove". Are the voices I recognized right away. This record truly proves that this band has nothing to prove. To noone, not even to me. I missed out on something over a long period of time and I happily admit my mistake. 16 July 2008 at 23:24. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Goodbye and Hello: On the move.

http://janblurr.blogspot.com/2008/07/in-backyard-of-record-collection-10.html
Tuesday, 8 July 2008. In The Backyard Of The Record Collection (10): Black Train Jack - No Reward and You're Not Alone. S records which always put a smile on my face every single time I listened to them. Who became the coverboys for German hardcore over the next few years. They were impressive, still we were there to see our heroes in Sick Of It All. But it was this happy-go-lucky singalong band with those nice melodies which stuck in my mind after the show. Yes, Black Train Jack. S famous retirement spe...

http://janblurr.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, 27 March 2008. Favourites once again: Germany 4 Switzerland 0. There will be no more matches before the final line up is announced and there is no doubt that Schweinsteiger will be in it. But I do hope that he either gets his stuff together or that the coaching staff will put him on the bench if he doesn't. Spring is coming and so is the sound of cracking bats. And finally in Japan the new season kicked off as well. Until now it is only the Pacific League, but the Central League will join t...

Wednesday, 16 July 2008. MLB Allstar Game: Now I know why it's called the "Midsummer Classic". Well, you have to give credit to the Americans for at least one thing: they know how to put up a great show and celebrate things. Although for European ears the ever present glorification of their home country might sound a little odd, but nonetheless they know how to great an atmosphere where everybody who is watching the event feels at least a little touched. So I tuned in for the annual MLB Allstar Game.

Jan Blurr's World: It wasn't meant to be: Fortuna lacks one point for promotion
http://janblurr.blogspot.com/2008/06/it-wasnt-meant-to-be-fortuna-lacks-one.html
Sunday, 1 June 2008. It wasn't meant to be: Fortuna lacks one point for promotion. What a crowd. What a match. Right from the start it was clear that Leverkusen wanted to settle for a draw. Fortuna wasn't creating any chances instead they were lucky they didn't have to concede a goal. After the break Fortuna got in control, hitting the post and the crossbar, getting their chances, keeping the hopes of their fans alive. And only a few minutes from time the scored. They scored! Euro 2008 Day 12: Were all s...
