A Day at Bayou Bend. Recently my mom and I decided to take the kids to Bayou Bend, one of our favorite places, for a story time event and to just let Preston run around in the gardens and play. It's so gorgeous there-if you've never been-you'll feel like you've been transported to another country! I mean, he is so un-cooperative it's almost funny. Amy and Brian's Family Life. Our journey into family life from pregnancy to parenting. Tuesday, 30 December 2014. Christmas (3.99 years and 2.35). I had to work the day after Christmas. Brian had a fun days with the kids and all of their new toys. Kaitlyn even came over to ride on the real space rocket. Brian was off during the holidays and it was awesome! We had some much needed quality family time. It was the best Christmas break ever! We even got the kids sleeping in until at least 7 and many days 8am.
