A Day at Bayou Bend. Recently my mom and I decided to take the kids to Bayou Bend, one of our favorite places, for a story time event and to just let Preston run around in the gardens and play. Baby number two, a baby girl, is expected to arrive around August 31, 2013. I'm about 14 weeks along, feeling great now (the first trimester was. I've been thinking and planning a lot over the past few weeks about how I should decorate the nursery for our baby girl. As soon as I started looking at fabric samples I started to get overwhelmed. I knew I wanted to use pink, but did I want to use hot pink, dark pink, bubble gum pink, pale pink, coral, salmon.There's just so many variations of pink! Ultimately, I'm thinking I can save the darker pinks and greens for when she is a little older and take advantage of the softer shades for when she is a baby.
