Little Fishes Bibs – On the Journey

Just a few of my favorite things. Little Fishes started when I made my Little a couple of reversible bibs. They were so simple and cute that I couldn’t stop. I tried some with a raw, unfinished edge and some with a finished and top-stitch edge. Made of 100% pre-washed cotton fabric and a few of cotton flannel. All are finished with a snap enclosure. I don’t like to waste scraps. I had to come up with something to do with the fabric pieces cut-out from the neck of the bibs. Follow Blog via Email.

Vintage Simplicity 3552: A Collar for Embroidery. Over Christmas break I cut this dress out for Clara, and sewed the collar pieces together in preparation for some elaborate embroidery- and Clara took over from there. It was her carrying-around handwork for spring semester, and then she made the dress. She's pretty handy with the satin stitching.
