Here are a few things I hope to achieve through the assistance of the lapband. 1 Conceive our first baby naturally. (improve PCOS symptoms) DONE WOHOO! 2 Run for at least 2-3km with no stopping. 3 Lose 10kg (completed at 6 weeks post op). 6 Get to my goal weight of 75-80kg. 7 Wear a size 14 pair of jeans. 8 Get to 7.5 on the Beep Test. This last couple of weeks I have found the weightloss is slowing down a little. My dr tells me that a 500g loss per week is what he wants and not to worry to much about pulling in the big numbers. Well its been 15 weeks since my lapband, and im finally under 100kg! Only just but still there! I have noticed that I have been vomiting more now with food and its almost like the band has become more tighter even without any more fluid. I am venturing to discover more foods and learning about things that can and can’t go down. Increasing fruit intake now too.
