http://aboutthecats.blogspot.com/2015/05/happy-first-birthday-to-ringo.html
Thursday, May 14, 2015. Happy first birthday to Ringo! I can't believe our little boy turns one today. He's been a great addition to the family, happy, easygoing, and loving. Here are 10 things you might not know about Ringo:. 1 H e's a total mama's boy. And his mama loves that). 2 He has a fascination with the washing machine and loves to accompany anyone who is doing laundry. 3 He loves being carried over his dad's shoulder. 4 Sometimes, he'll walk around the house and meow, just because he can. It's all about the cats!: Ringo is a mama's boy
http://aboutthecats.blogspot.com/2014/11/ringo-is-mamas-boy.html
Tuesday, November 4, 2014. Ringo is a mama's boy. Ringo has become a mama's boy. He follows me all around the house, meows when I leave for work, and sits outside the bathroom when I'm inside.*. He especially enjoys being a shoulder kitty, and will drape himself around my neck. He really is a sweet boy, and seems to know I love kitties being close. He does love Jim too, and will greet him when he comes home from work. He also loves to drape over Jim's shoulder. November 4, 2014 at 7:45 AM. Cody used to b...

eighth acre farm: leading economic indictor- my job
http://eighthacrefarm.blogspot.com/2014/02/leading-economic-indictor-my-job.html
Learning urban self-sufficiency in the age of peak everything. Friday, February 7, 2014. Leading economic indictor- my job. Well, now I have more time to spend with the kids. So, last Friday I got a call from the head of Human Resources while I was sitting in my cubicle trying to finish a project that I was supposed to turn in before the end of the day. In a very nice voice he asked, "Would you mind coming down to my office, Jeff? Of course. Why wouldn't I? So we had the obligatory awkward conversation&#...

Weather - Christine in Hong Kong
http://ck-in-hk.livejournal.com/8093.html
Christine in Hong Kong. Musings of an American living in Asia. Mar 6th, 2009 at 1:49 PM. It's colder in Hong Kong during the day than it is in Milwaukee during the night. That's not right. So, to all of my friends and family who have had to endure me telling them how it's 80 and sunny while you're in the middle of a blizzard, well, now's your chance for revenge. On the plus side, I had yummy pad thai and hot coffee for lunch, so score. 1 comment Leave a comment. Mar 6th, 2009 06:11 pm (UTC).

Pikku Punapippuri: Sunday Squashing

PUNAPIPPURI: King Kitty Cat of Finland(N) and family of brave mancats, sneaky girlcats and Äiti the dizzy human. Sunday, 9 August 2015. Äiti bought compression socks to help with her running - not that she did much running yesterday as she confessed to walking about 4km of her half marathon - the wimp! And Mesi of course sneaks in - there's always room for a little one. And I hasten to add that she got the 'best place' near Äiti's head only with my consent of course. 9 August 2015 at 05:16. It's all about the cats!: Making progress with new cat
http://aboutthecats.blogspot.com/2015/05/making-progress-with-new-cat.html
Friday, May 15, 2015. Making progress with new cat. I know, if you name him, he's yours. . . I've named him Winston. Continuing our Beatles name theme, it's John Lennon's middle name. I've always thought that would be good for a Siamese kitty. I discovered that he adores freeze-dried chicken. I sit by the truck and throw pieces closer and closer to me. He waits for the next piece. Then he took pieces from my fingers. He was very gentle in doing this. I even got to pet him a little! May 15, 2015 at 7:54 AM.

It's all about the cats!: I need to be touching you, Mom
http://aboutthecats.blogspot.com/2015/05/i-need-to-be-touching-you-mom.html
Tuesday, May 12, 2015. I need to be touching you, Mom. One night while I was eating dinner, Ringo sat in the chair next to me and made sure his paws were touching my leg. Bet he was also on high alert in case something fell to the floor. MOL. May 12, 2015 at 8:14 AM. Summer at sparklecat.com. Was he expecting a reward for all his efforts? May 12, 2015 at 12:03 PM. Now, Id be happy if Elliot followed that theory - he seems to think he needs one paw on my plate. May 12, 2015 at 4:14 PM. Follow Us by Email.

It's all about the cats!: Thrifty Thursday: Colored pencils
http://aboutthecats.blogspot.com/2015/05/thrifty-thursday-colored-pencils.html
Thursday, May 7, 2015. Thrifty Thursday: Colored pencils. When I was a kid, my grandparents had a drawer in their bedroom with crayons, colored pencils, and scribbling paper for the grandkids to use. Imagine my surprise recently when I found the exact brand and type of colored pencils in a Goodwill! That was a great find :). May 7, 2015 at 8:20 AM. You are quite the treasure hunter. May 7, 2015 at 9:53 AM. Tails from the Foster Kittens. I bet that made you smile all day. May 7, 2015 at 12:59 PM.

Why I'm Turning into a Hong Konger - Christine in Hong Kong
http://ck-in-hk.livejournal.com/6936.html
Christine in Hong Kong. Musings of an American living in Asia. Why I'm Turning into a Hong Konger. Jun 2nd, 2008 at 3:26 PM. With only a month left to go before I head back to the US, I've begun to realise just how much I've assimilated. 1 I can use chopsticks like a pro. I've even passed the chopstick 'tests' - I can pick up two peanuts at the same time, and I can cut things with chopsticks using only one hand. 2 I automatically look to the right when I'm crossing the street. 12 I actually enjoy drinkin...
