It is a combination of my mother's recipe and one of Paula Deen's. :). 1-15 lbs beef stew meat. 2 tbsp canola oil. 15 oz can tomato sauce. 2 cup water (or so). 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce. 1 tsp garlic powder. 1 tsp chili powder. 1 medium onion, chopped. 3 large carrots, sliced. 3 ribs celery, chopped.

Friday, May 4, 2012. Slow Cooker Santa Fe Chicken Tacos. This is an adaptation of a recipe. I found on Pinterest that was pretty good.but this version I came up with was better! Just made it for the second time tonight and everyone loved it. This amount fed 4 adults and 1 child, plus we have some leftovers. So good! 24 oz (1 1/2) lbs chicken breast. 144 oz can petite diced chipotle tomatoes (or Rotel). 15 oz can black beans. 8 oz frozen corn. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro. 1/2 onion, chopped.

Saturday, March 3, 2012. 1 1/2 c. Chobani Vanilla 0% Greek Yogurt. 1 1/2 c. flour. 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder. 3/4 tsp baking soda. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Combine wet ingredients. Add wet ingredients to the dry and mix. Pour 1/4 cup portions onto the griddle. I realized that, depending on the brand, Greek yogurt has a LOT of protein, so it makes them even more filling. Melt in Your Mouth Chicken. 4 boneless chicken breast halves. 189; cup freshly grated parmesan cheese.

Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Homemade Garden Spaghetti Sauce. This is adapted from a recipe I found on Pinterest (and no longer remember where) and directions given by my friend Chris. :) AMAZING! 1/4 cup olive oil. 1 large or 2 small yellow onions, finely chopped. 4 lbs tomatoes (original recipe called for Roma, I used Heirlooms and Better Boys from my garden! Homegrown is the way to go! 6 ounces tomato paste. 2 Tbsp fresh basil, minced or 1 Tbsp dried basil. 1/2 tsp dried oregano. 1-2 tbsp pure maple syrup.

They just don't quite get the same attention that you gave to the first one. ;) Regrettably, I have not documented this pregnancy in nearly the detail that I did my first. So I am pausing to play catch up and at least hit the highlights! What has been different this time around? Here is the little bean at the first OB appointment. 7 weeks, 2 days gestation. 20 weeks, 5 days gestational age. 28 weeks, 6 days gestational age.

I've still been losing weight and I've got less than 10 pounds to go now until I reach my "goal weight". It seems to be a slow, but steady, process, but I'm thrilled to see the scale keep going in the right direction. So, if you look closely at Monday, February 7, you'll see that I only burned 36 calories. That's because I've started something new!

Amy's Semester in Prague. Sunday, June 15, 2008. It's been a couple weeks since I've been home. I don't have as much down time as I did in Europe, so I've been putting off updating my blog. I will do my best to summarize my last couple weeks in Europe. Greece was by far the most beautiful place I visited! Its water was gorgeous.
