Thursday, May 10, 2012. Kane got his first pair of scissors on Easter, and hasn't stopped cutting paper since. It's a little awkward since he's a lefty, and his scissors are geared for righties, but he makes it work. The other day, as I was watching him cut away, I noticed a little quirk he has while cutting. Sunday, August 28, 2011. Amy came to Portland this week and we finally got to meet beautiful Coco! The whole fam was thrilled to hold and snuggle her, but no one was more excited than Kane! Even if he doesn't though, at least we get special baby time with Coco! Sunday, August 21, 2011. There's no doubt that Kane loves water! No wonder the kid is obsessed with sharks.I think he wants to be one (well.that or a "dinoroar")! Preparing for the perfect jump. In cheerleading, this move is called a "chair-lift"!

Monday, January 23, 2012. Cash has become quite the chatty Kathy these days. It's so fun to hear him make new sounds and discover just what noises his mouth can make! Thursday, June 30, 2011. I just have to share a quick story from today. It took about five years off my life. I had an old co-worker come over for lunch today, and he brought a house warming gift along with a package of mini Haribo gummi bears (my favorite). Kane kept asking for "andy peas" (candy please), so I gave him two bears and told him that was enough. Apparently this apple (or gummi bear in this situation) doesn't fall far from the tree!
