Monday, April 25, 2011. I just returned today from an amazing two weeks. I am so sad to be back to reality. The first week was spent in Malta with family. It was a great experience, and I wish that they did not live so far away. They were absolutely amazing to me and I felt like a member of the family. Tuesday, August 9, 2011. Well I have been back from Greece now for two days. and I have to say I am missing the sun! After surviving the volcanic climb, we headed to swim in some hot springs. These hot springs were very different than what I was expecting. First, we had to jump off the side of our pirate ship, and then swim to the hot springs. They contained a lot of iodine and copper, so the water smelt gross and tasted like copper. and it turned the white on my bathing suit orange! Fira Town, Santorini.

Sunday, March 27, 2011. Another great weekend. and spring is (finally) here! Well spring is finally here and it is SO nice. We put the clocks forward an hour today, and it was great to have that extra hour of sunshine. The leaves are starting to come out on trees, and there are newborn lambs in all the fields. :). Monday, November 29, 2010. It is freezing right now. but while everyone else in the country gets snow, we just get sunshine! I had a good weekend. I went out on Friday night for my department Christmas party and we had a great time. Only the girls showed up. which was alright! Then had Starbucks, went grocery shopping, and watched a movie at home. It was a long GOOD day! Time is going to fly by. Here's hoping it's warmer in Spain than it is here! PS- anyone know how to work an electric storage heater?

Tuesday, June 21, 2011. The weeks are FLYING by. I can't believe how little time I have left here. It has been over ten months since I left home. I now have only two and a half weeks left teaching my classes, and then two weeks basically "babysitting" as the kids switch to their timetables for next year.
