The Wheelwrights: October Fun!
http://jmwheelwright.blogspot.com/2009/11/october-fun.html
I decided to try my hand again at cake making. This time I made a fish cake for my nephew's 2nd birthday. I think it turned out pretty good. If you can't tell, it's a fish. I got comments ranging from a pumpkin to a robot.). David was ready for the "Happy Birthday" song to be over so he could blow out the candles. Recycling OR Just Making A Mess? Natalie looked so cute as she was determined to empty the recycling basket. Luckily, Jeff was on the ball and grabbed the camera to take pictures. Jeff and I me...

The Wheelwrights: Birthdays Come And Go!
http://jmwheelwright.blogspot.com/2009/02/birthdays-come-and-go.html
Birthdays Come And Go! Birthdays use to be so much fun. I use to anticipate my birthday for weeks. Well, this year my birthday came and went so quickly that I barely had time to savor it. I'm actually more excited for Nat's birthday and her birthday doesn't even come until September. I guess its true what they say, everything becomes more fun when you have kids. Someone told me yesterday that I would start anticipating my own birthday again when Natalie is older and starts making it fun again! I got your...

We've had a fun summer in the Wheelwright family. We've gone on a couple of fun trips, one to Bear Lake and another to Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. Here are a few pics of those outings for those interested. My favorite is Nat's first day of pre-school. Can you tell she dressed herself? Posted by Jeff and Melody. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Max, Max, Max, and Justin and Ashley. Wednesday, October 29, 2008. While Justin was gone this summer he designed the shed that we are building in the backyard. It certainly hasn't gone very quickly but it will be cool to say that we built it ourselves. Check it out. Here's Justin making one of the walls. Two walls up, 2 more to go. These things are heavy! I know that you must be impressed with the trusses we made, try not to be jealous. Justin securing the top of the roof. What a man!

Kemps In Kansas: February 2010
http://kevinandjenikemp.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 26, 2010. Kids say the darndest things. I didn't have my camera, but even if I had, it would not have captured the priceless moment of the night. A boy goes to see his doctor and says, "Doctor, I need a new bum, 'cause my old one has a crack in it." The doctor says, "I've told you a million times; everybody's bum has a crack in it! Everyone was busting up laughing, I was turning several shades of red. I had NEVER heard this one from him! At least Palmer said bum. Sunday, February 21, 2010.

Max, Max, Max, and Justin and Ashley. Monday, October 5, 2009. Came across this article in a pregnancy magazine. I laughed until I cried and then I laughed some more. Mind you, I was in the midst of my first trimester at the moment. Fresh saltines on a bed of saltines, lightly seasoned with saltines. Ginger Ale (IV drip available upon request). Ten minutes in a dim room with an ice bag on your head. Half a roast of chicken, extra crispy. Toll House-pie smoothie, prepared with 1/2 pint heavy cream.

Sunday, April 17, 2011. This was a conversation our boys had earlier this week after watching an episode of Mythbusters:. Preston: Dad, did you know if you super-heat distilled water and then put in a sugar cube it will explode? Dad: No, I didn't know that. Preston: No Nick, it was on Mythbusters and they tell you don't try this at home. Nick: Oh.then, let's go to the park! John: Hi Nick, you're here again? Hey John, guess what (whisper) I faked a stomach ache! Sunday, April 10, 2011. On Monday we took t...

A Birthday for Natalie. Wow, I have a one year old. I can't believe it. Natalie turned one yesterday but we threw a party for her last Saturday. Here is my little birthday girl. Natalie enjoying her party. I also decided to try my hand at making a cake. I think the cake turned out really well. Not only cute, but good too. =). Natalie trying to decide if she should dive right in or stay clean! After a while she decided she liked the icing best. (Just like mom! Posted by Jeff and Melody.
