Monday, October 28, 2013. Halloween Parade and Pumpkin Carving. On Saturday morning we went to the Wood River parade. The parade goes in front of Charla's (Grandma Pati's sister) house! Monday evening we carved our pumpkins. Oliver wanted a vampire pumpkin with two fangs and scary eyes. Ivy got a Cinderella carriage. Uncle Chris used his drill to help make her carriage! Here's the finished produce minus the carriage. This was our home for 2 days. Oscar's first trip to the pumpkin patch! Si, Ty and Levi.

Sunday, April 13, 2014. Oscar's Baptism and First Birthday Party! Oscar was baptized this morning. He did a really good job! He only let out a few cries. It was also Palm Sunday so the Sunday School kids paraded through the church with palm leaves. After the baptism we had Oscar's first birthday party! Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Erin and I went to Eureka to take the kids to a corn maze, however, when we got there the maze was closed for some car show so we took the kids to Six Flags at the late minute! Erin and I took turns taking the kids on rides and the other keeping Oscar busy. He had a good time on the carousel! All the kids enjoyed playing at the playground there. Thank goodness for Looney Toons town! Another weekend we met at Spencer Creek park and the kids had fun throwing rocks in the water.

Saturday, September 28, 2013. This morning Erin and I ran the Warrior Dash! Here is before the race while we are still shiny and clean! We had to scale walls, jump/climb over hurdles, go through 4 mud pits (with help from fellow runners), army crawl under barbed wire, monkey bars (by far the hardest), jump over fire and crawl through a mud pit with barbed wire over head and I'm sure I am missing some things. Monday, January 6, 2014. I think it took us longer to get all dressed up than it did for us to play. It was cold out there! Oliver is gathering 4 cups of snow before we go in so we can make snow ice cream. Snow ice cream: 4 cups of snow, 1 cup of milk, 1/4 cup of sugar and 1 tbsp. of vanilla. Snow ice cream is yummy! Now we are back inside for the rest of the day.again. Friday, January 3, 2014. Ivy and Oliver spent the night with Maw Maw and Papa Stu for their last night in town. He is such a monkey!

Saturday, June 27, 2015. During Spring Break Mrs. Martin set up a play date at the park for the whole 3rd grade class. They all loved getting together outside the classroom! We also took the kids to the Zoo over Spring Break. Ivy brought her friend, Emma, along. St Patrick's Day Parade - it was very muddy this year! Oscar loved the Shriner's cars!
