We knew it was the one we wanted but were standing there trying to figure out how to get it home (because we know that if you see it at Costco you better buy it now because it may not be there the next day). A neighbor happened to walk by and offered to drive it home for us. So, here it is! Oh to be young! Just watching my kids takes me back to a time when life was simple and carefree!

We had this little house in Hilo. If you've ever been to the Hilo side of Hawaii, you'll know it rains . it rains. it rains and it RAINS! Yep That was surprise #1 of the trip. Sunday, October 2, 2011. In the new Pottery Barn catalog. Found the cutest Mercury Glass vases for the holidays. Price? 69 Uh huh. Not on my budget. So I looked up DIY Mercury glass. This is the website I found how to do it. You can find it here. I was so excited to try it! Here are my results! I am pretty proud of them. We told the kids after church to pack an overnight bag and we were off. As we were driving into Denver we called Auntie Heather and picked her up. Mt Rushmore is an amazing place. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Along with most everyone, a few nights before Halloween we carve our pumpkins. This year we grew all our pumpkins In years past we have grown some but always ended up buying a couple because ours didn't grow big enough or enough of them. We also usually do these cool designs on our pumpkins but this year we kept it simple. Keeping it simple, I think, is the key to keeping my sanity! October 31, 2012 at 1:06 PM.
