http://angieanddave.blogspot.com/2008/03/vomitar-verbo-intransitivo-to-vomit-be.html

Thursday, March 20, 2008. VOMITAR: verbo intransitivo. To vomit, be sick. The success of our ambitious exit plan from Honduras to Flores, in Northern Guatemala depended on us making an unlikely series of closely-timed bus connections. In a land where set timetables don’t exist (except for long distance affairs) and busses only leave ‘when full’, only a miracle of punctuality and demand was going to have us in Flores come nightfall. A rather unofficial-looking entry document. The unforeseen third connecti...

We scored on a piece of paper mounted on an angled wooden bench, while the ovular balls shook and rattled down the lanes, which were smoothed to the steady level of spent minefields. Wednesday, April 18, 2007. Walking up a mountain. Warning: Lots of words ahead, feel free just to look at the pictures. Swords at the ready. Angie and Pablo on yet another perilous bridge. I dragged my pack and myself inside the refugio and glorious electric bar heaters began the job of thawing out the blood that had frozen next to the surface of my bare arms. View from the bedroom window. See the refugio on the left-hand side? It doesn't have a phone. Sorry I couldn't call for your birthday, Dad! April ...

---trippinballs!!---: Uyuni Desert Day 2

http://angieanddave.blogspot.com/2007/07/uyuni-desert-day-2.html

Tuesday, July 24, 2007. Uyuni Desert Day 2. More surreal rock formations than you could poke a camera at. Snow resting on brown sand. Pink flamingos being blown across iced over lakes by a white, unceasing wind. Air without oxygen dry chilled to painful temperatures. The day was journey through a minimalististic nightmare, and when night swooped, it didn't bring with it anything closer to reality. Yes, this is the strangest place I have ever been. LUNDQUIST FAMILY

Well it's been about a month since we got approved for our adoption. We have been buying baby things here and there and I've been working on the puzzle a little bit at a time. I've definitely got a ways to go. It is a lot harder than I thought it would be. Mainly its just finding the time to sit down and do it. But I am making progress. I'll just do a lot of gardening in the mean time. Another exciting thing we have decided to do is race in the Chosen Marathon. Our team name is Baby Lundquist! As the wee...
