Today, I spent my day out in Sandbridge in VA Beach, watching an almost 600' barge carrying mostly hazardous waste (and some Puerto Rican Rum) inch its way south towards a fishing pier. Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Updates from the garden. Gary and I got a tomato plant from Kurt the last time he came to visit. We got a couple of good tomatoes from it and enjoyed some tasty BLT sandwiches. Thanks Kurt! The $1.00 pack of sunflower seeds from Target took off! We had them in the pot out front that we used to hide the rebar, but they eventually out grew the area and we ended up moving them out back. Gary's favorite.the Indian Feather.
