Ana’s blog of everything. May 9, 2012. It’s been two years, almost exactly, since I last tried to kill myself. I haven’t self harmed for about 3 months and I haven’t self harmed badly for more like a year. I am in a stable relationship with someone I love and who supports me with what I want to do. It's Not Much. Well, we're still flying. It's Enough. Families are a headfuck. As are people in general. I just don’t understand humans. I wish I was an actual human, but that is a completely different post. Fantastic show last weekend. I love my mediaeval life, it is so much more suited to me, less based on socialising, more skills based and more structured. I am a competent woman, and a confident one when in my medieval garb. There is ability in disability. June 26, 2011. That is the mantra of the school for disabled children our IBM team visited on Saturday, and it never sounded so true than that morning. This school, located in the Nigerian state of Niger, about 3 hours by car from Abuja, is one two public boarding schools in the country that is dedicated to educating primary and secondary school children who suffer from blindness or deafness.
