Thursday, April 2, 2015. It's spring break this week. We haven't done anything too special with the kids yet, but it's been nice to be home. School mornings go smoothly but a lot has to get done between 6:30 and 8:30. Herding 4 kids through that process on my own each morning (V goes to work before that) is just fine but definitely requires a fair amount of energy immediately upon waking. :). Saturday, April 25, 2015. Erik decided about one year ago that he was done with soccer and wanted to play baseball instead. He is in his second season and does pretty well. He is a good hitter and usually gets on base. He loves the position of catcher and is pretty attentive when there. In the outfield though, boy he spends quite a bit of time dancing (or kicking the dirt - if in the infield). Ha! I love Erik's enthusiasm for the sport! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Saturday, December 27, 2014. 2014 has been quite a year for us. During the first three months Carson was hospitalized with RSV, Erik broke his leg, I had multiple small surgeries for dysplastic nevi (and was informed my risk of developing melanoma is high), my grandma was hospitalized and almost died after having a stroke/heart failure, and Daron bravely fought against the leukemia one more time, passing away in late March. Then just as icing on the cake, Southwest airlines. I am thankful for my faith.

Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Kyle is a funny baby! I have been sick for the past 10 days - cold turned pneumonia (mild). I started myself on antibiotics after it settled into my chest and quickly improved after that. Because I was sick, there has been a fairly large supply of cough drops. Saturday, April 26, 2014. Here is Adrienne with a comparison to Sadie on the right. Pretty cute babies! She is still a fairly quiet baby. But when she does get in the talkative mood (usually when Sadie is napping or not around to distract her) she can be pretty loud. She is still squealing and cooing most of the time, but I have heard one or two consonant sounds here and there. She has the cutest laugh! The raspberries don't come very often anymore, but the drool sure is spilling out. She loves her Sadie!
