The Netherlands Antilles - a last reserve of the Colonialism.: nederland
http://nederland.livejournal.com/119777.html
The Netherlands Antilles - a last reserve of the Colonialism. There is erroneous view, that a current events in the rest of the colonial system - in Netherlands Antilles are not worthy of attention. Should we, aware of these circumstances, deny from the support of a fair right of Antilles islands people to secede from the metropolis? We think - NO! Liberte-ou-mort (dog) mail.ru. Pattern Drawing Software: patterncutting
http://patterncutting.livejournal.com/18249.html
Hi, I'm new to this community. I've been sewing for many years, and I've altered patterns, but I've never drawn patterns starting from scratch. Can someone please tell me what kind of software I would use to draw a pattern so that I could save as a PDF file. In other words, let's say I want to upload a free pattern to share? Do I draw it by hand and then scan it into software like Adobe Illustrator? Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post. Post a new comment.

new edu site: patterncutting
http://patterncutting.livejournal.com/18551.html
Just a warning that this has been x-posted to several communities and for that reason I've cut most of it so you don't have to scroll past it a hundred times if you are part of the same communities as I am :). I am in the process of creating a really big fashion education website. The purpose is to make fashion / fashion design education accessible to home learners, hobbyists, and people who just can't afford to go to college yet. If you are interested in learning more about the project, please read on:.

Practical Guide to Patternmaking for Fashion Designers: patterncutting
http://patterncutting.livejournal.com/19289.html
Practical Guide to Patternmaking for Fashion Designers. Has anyone here used this book before? I am interested to know if they have found the drafts that come from it to be a good fit or not? And also if they have used the author's measurement tables to create garments in standard sizes. I am looking for a book to recommend. I know everyone always says Patternmaking by the Flat Pattern Method but I like to offer options to people. Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. Post a new comment.

pattern blocks: patterncutting
http://patterncutting.livejournal.com/19167.html
I'm familiar with several textbooks/methods for drafting the blocks(slopers, basics, etc) however I have not yet done any work which required me to make a basic without a person to fit it on (ie an invididual client or fit model). I was wondering for those of you who know how to draft blocks yourself, which method/text is the best for standard sizes? That is, what method tends to fit the greatest number of people within a size? Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. Post a new comment.

I normally just lurk but have been hit with a problem with drafting and thought you lovely people might be able to help! I've self drafted a fitted coat, which when standing still, looks perfect. The sleeve lines are where they should be, the back sits perfectly, the actual sleeve looks how I want. The problem is when I go to move my arms. I can't reach forward or up very far. Where should I be fixing the problem? Do I add to the back (I don't really want excess fabric when standing still)?
