Observations on whatever catches my fancy - astronomy, aviation, pets, etc. Monday, August 31, 2009. An actual moment of quasi-coolness. It's been so long since the weather has been anything but hot and humid that is was like a barely remembered dream to walk outside this morning and feel a breath of cool. It's not Autumn yet, not by a long shot, but the most brutally steamy days are behind us, and I'm looking forward to the first real cool front that whisks in and sweeps away the crud.
