Having nearly completed the build and got the car through the IVA, its time to have a bit of a clear out in the garage. I've already listed a few bits on the Cobra forum but thought I'd add a page to the website as the next few bits could probably do with pictures. Mr Gaskit - Hilborne Style Scoop - 150.00. Bought this when I thought I was going to run dual carbs, never did though so this is 100% brand new in the box and complete with all original fixings and air filter. Carb Spacer- 10.00.

The chassis arrived from Dax on Saturday 24th October 2009 strapped to the Dax pickup truck along with lots of metal parts and boxes of bits and bolts. Assembly very straight forward, Dax manual very good on this and the exploded diagrams are excellent for anyone who has ever assembled mechano or a tamiya kit. So Here She Is . Finshed and ready for this years (2016) Mclaren motor show, other than a couple of nice to have wiring changes (puddle lights) she is complete, 6 years of hard work and fun! Not had many days recently for drives out, these pictures were taken a couple of weeks back on the last decent weekend that coincided with having the time for a couple of hours fun. It was a nice leisurely 50 mile run out across the Pennines and back with very little traffic and lots of dry, winding roads :-). My road tax is about to run out, do I renew or SORN. Hmmm.

Finished sticking the carpet down on the transmission tunnel, this is now stuck all the way along the top and down both sides. The only tricky bit I had was cutting out for the gearstick.
