Art One- -Final Portfolio! Art 2 Final Portfolio♥. Wednesday, January 6, 2016. I wish my candle holder idea could have worked out because once it had been finished the light patterns that would have shown through the sides would have been so beautiful. I do not have a picture of my actual piece in progress because it kept cracking and breaking so I threw it away :( however, here is a picture of the mold I used to create the snowflakes:. This full class involved project was quite an enjoyable one!

Art One- -Final Portfolio! Art 2 Final Portfolio♥. Saturday, May 4, 2013. The Hummingbird" Linoleum Project! This is a picture of my hummingbird print. The process to get this print was quite interesting! You have your print! In my opinion I think this project was very interesting. I do think I could have done a better job on the carving part of this project to make sure it showed all of the texture I wanted, but that was my only challenge! I have learned from my mistakes! Gabbie Gritton's Blog : Relief Piece!

Art One- -Final Portfolio! Art 2 Final Portfolio♥. Wednesday, November 11, 2015. February 18, 2016 at 3:00 AM. A really beautiful piece of work. Something that particularly strikes me about this is the way you have used vibrant colours to somewhat counteract the rather macabre subject matter. I am also impressed with the use of glass mixed into the paint - I can see how well the different textures work together to make this a real tactile piece. Helene Raymond @ Trade Squad. Art 1 Final Portfolio. Tuesday, January 5, 2016. Original photos. From here I decided to use the beach as my background and use the photo of the mountains to come into the picture. Using the rectangular marquee tool I selected the photo of the mountains and copied and pasted it onto the photo of the beach. Using ctrl t I am able to use the transform tool to scale my picture to my liking. Use shift alt while transforming so the photo doesn’t become distorted. Wednesday, December 16, 2015. Art 1 final portfolio. Wednesday, January 6, 2016. I don't have a picture of my reaction project but it's safe to say i hated it. i worked really hard and was searching too hard for perfection and definitely didn't find it. i wish i went with something simpler and less strenuous. I saw this and i liked it because of its simplicity and i liked the texture. At first, i didnt like this one but once i got closer the textures were really cool. I dont like this one because it looks like colorful vomit. Art wit...

Sunday, June 5, 2016. Art Refliction Question 2 (#2). I feel my artistic strengths revolve mostly drawing something and coloring to an extent. My weaknesses appear to be shading, proportions, and drawing hands. I can improve on these by practicing. I must draw more hands, look at pictures of hands and shade them. This can also help me to improve my proportions. Refliction Question 1 (#4). Wednesday, March 16, 2016. It's a metaphor for the thin skindness of society. My first object made with a 3D printer.

Art 2 Final Portfolio. Monday, January 4, 2016. I was influenced by the contemporary artist Heather Hansen when I created my charcoal artwork. My piece was charcoal on wood to make a tree, and I used the elements line and value in my piece. I was inspired by Hansen's use of charcoal and her movements that created lines. Her work pushed me to be more creative in terms of the materials I used. Monday, December 7, 2015. What is something you never got the chance to say? A piece that I didn't have a reaction...
