Melted Sand to See the World Outside: M.A.S.K.
http://the-peopleproject.blogspot.com/2010/11/mask.html
Melted Sand to See the World Outside. Monday, November 8, 2010. For the life of me, I can't recall what made me think of putting people in masks and taking pictures. Maybe I saw it somewhere else and thought it might be fun. That seems the most likely candidate. And being close to Halloween when I did it seemed fitting. But now I have 5 masquerade masks and no idea what to do with them. Have a party, maybe? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Email: dmoorephoto [at] gmail [dot] com.

Melted Sand to See the World Outside: March 2010
http://the-peopleproject.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Melted Sand to See the World Outside. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Lessons learned from this shoot: MoBot will charge you a pretty penny to go in and do pictures of people, as opposed to the plants. But Tower Grove Park is close, and works as a suitable alternative. Photoshop can, with a few adjustments, make pictures taken on a gray day look almost appealing. I think that's all I got. Melted Sand to See the World Outside: November 2010
http://the-peopleproject.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Melted Sand to See the World Outside. Tuesday, November 30, 2010. I did some family pictures a couple weeks ago, on what was, more than likely, the last nice day for outdoor shooting we'll have for awhile. I'm always torn- outdoors is, to me, always better for shooting, so I'll miss that, but I do like cold weather.). Tuesday, November 23, 2010. Not to toot my own horn (okay, that's a lie), but Melissa Marr, featured here. Next summer. June, I think. The book is called 'Graveminder,' by the way. But now ...

Melted Sand to See the World Outside: July 2010
http://the-peopleproject.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Melted Sand to See the World Outside. Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Hitched or: I'm Not Going Back Jim! Friends Anthony and Karen got married a few weeks ago, and as you might guess, I was there to document it all for posterity. Many many shots, so these are just some highlights. I probably don't need to tell you where to do to see the rest by now, right? As for the subject, well, it makes sense to me, and it's pretty hilarious. Monday, July 26, 2010. I just love the heat waves in the vicinity of the torches.

Melted Sand to See the World Outside: May 2010

Melted Sand to See the World Outside. Monday, May 31, 2010. Jolly Green and a Teaser. Hmm I think "Jolly Green and the Teasers" would be a good name for a band. Anyways- I can't talk much about the second shot. Well, I CAN, but I'm opting not to. I'll try and have the rest of the shots up in a few days, but rest assured, it was a lot of fun. What you COULD see, though, was.his package (if you get my drift) rather prominently framed in the suit. The less said about that, the better. Tuesday, May 25, 2010.

Melted Sand to See the World Outside: September 2010
http://the-peopleproject.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Melted Sand to See the World Outside. Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Dressed to at least the eights. I decided that since the phrase is "dressed to the nines," the originator of said phrase must have been including zero as an option, because it doesn't make much sense to me to leave ten off as an option. I suppose I could look into the phrase's origins, but I don't feel like it right now. Tuesday, September 21, 2010. Monday, September 20, 2010. One READ to Rule Them All. Monday, September 13, 2010. Melted Sand to See the World Outside: Odds and Sods
http://the-peopleproject.blogspot.com/2010/05/odds-and-sods.html
Melted Sand to See the World Outside. Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Lots going on at work lately. Let's take a peek, shall we? Pennsylvania Slim stopped by and played the blues. Laura Bush stopped by for a night. That was kinda cool. I got cleared by the Secret Service, which was pretty righteous. Trout Fishing in America was here for a concert. Shades of Zeppelin, maybe? Teen author Melissa Marr was here, and I finally got a chance to have an author pose for me. We both really liked this one.

Melted Sand to See the World Outside: Shameless Self-Promotion

Melted Sand to See the World Outside. Tuesday, November 23, 2010. Not to toot my own horn (okay, that's a lie), but Melissa Marr, featured here. Emailed me last week, wanting to know if she could use the picture I took as her jacket photo in her next release. So I said yes, as you might expect, and you can expect to see my picture on bookshelves (! Next summer. June, I think. The book is called 'Graveminder,' by the way. November 23, 2010 at 5:37 PM. Melted Sand to See the World Outside: August 2010
http://the-peopleproject.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Melted Sand to See the World Outside. Tuesday, August 31, 2010. I was thinking that my trip out west would yield some awesome nature shots (which it did), but not necessarily a lot of cool people shots. Well it appears I was wrong! Happily, in this case. There were, as you might expect, a LOT of pictures, though not all with people. You know where to go for the rest of them, I'm sure. This is Dave. Dave gets to drive a train. And I'm only a little jealous. Monday, August 16, 2010. View my complete profile.
