The next day we woke up and the storm was worse so we moved next door to a nicer motel that was the same cheap rate, just less sketchy, and sat in bed and drank beer. We did, however, hear more about the puppies. Those 22 miles may have been the longest of the trip yet. When we first got to The Captain's we walked on the back porch and Aldo backed into a corner terrified and peed everywhere. What the hell were we getting ourselves into?

Wednesday, February 29, 2012. One Day to Go: T - Snow Storm. What a whirlwind of a week, and it ain't over yet! Easy as pie, but not quite as delicious. As of right now, we have 275 homemade dehydrated energy bars stuffed in their freezer, and three bags/baskets filled with bulk grains, beans, fruits and veggies. Monday, February 13, 2012. Wednesday, January 18, 2012. We stayed in OGE for four hours Monday night. I took Bunji out to pee on Church Street three times. Good Dog. I thank Molly and Chris and Happy Feet for truly supporting us from a retail standpoint.we took up half of their shift that evening and only invested in a replacement cartridge for our waterfilter. Would have been 40$, but I had store credit because my old backpack sold.came out to be 12$. Friday, January 13, 2012. We stopped at the spring, drank it dry, and headed on.
