Musings from a former Psychology Post Doc making her way through a non-academic research job for now. Wednesday, September 23, 2009. It turns out my tail bone is out, as in shifted so that the left side is out a little more than the right side and that leads to inflammation and serious pain. Ok, I'm off to do some of my exercises and ice my back. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). And baby makes 3. New blog new me. Too old to party.

Musings from a former Psychology Post Doc making her way through a non-academic research job for now. Friday, January 29, 2010. RBOC quick check in edition. An up date on my last post; I now have a temporary crown on my tooth and am pretty much pain free. My back is better, physical therapy made a huge difference and I'm traveling right now so I haven't been able to be vigilant about my exercises but I'm doing my best and will be much better when I get home. Things are not much better ANJ. It's been fun ...

Psych Post Doc: October 2009
http://psychpostdoc.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Musings from a former Psychology Post Doc making her way through a non-academic research job for now. Sunday, October 25, 2009. Because you're exact words were "I should not have expected you to do this given that you did not know how.". These rewriting of realities are driving me crazy. They're diminishing my motivation and lowering my moral. But when you're dealing with someone who is overly sensitive, insecure and passive aggressive what the hell do you do? Besides fester in frustration that is? Tomor...

http://mamabeek-et-al.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 25, 2009. There's no Telling Where the Money Went. Saturday, August 22, 2009. Well my sister's tests were done and nothing looked overtly wrong to have caused her symptoms. No masses, which is the biggest thing. They did find a hiatal hernia, but she hasn't been having symptoms from that, so it must be quite mild. Once the results of her labs and biopsies come in we'll hopefully have an answer. So it's halfway good news and halfway hurry up and wait. Wish we could afford a housekeeper....

http://mamabeek-et-al.blogspot.com/2011/05/where-have-i-been.html
Wednesday, May 04, 2011. WHERE have I been? Wow so much has happened, and then again, not so much after all. Facebook has taken over and I find I just don't feel the need to come here much. Probably I will delete this site in time, but for now I'll update and poke around to see what everyone else is doing! I finished my internship and am awaiting the last edits on my dissertation. Defense date is set and graduation is the second week in June. W00T! Im glad to see you have a new post! I have no idea if th...

Mindful-Mumblings: Spring is Sprung!
http://mamabeek-et-al.blogspot.com/2010/03/spring-is-sprung.html
Monday, March 29, 2010. And the grass is riz and riz and riz despite how often we cut it! But what a beautiful spring it is here. Shockingly green and the creek running consistently, which it hasn't for several years now. My allergies are insane, but the meds are at least marginally managing them, so it's bearable so far. Been such a long time since I've updated here! I've been trying to figure out what I want to do with this blog, but haven't really settled on anything new or different. Weve both been h...
