AqSci Pri tank 2012-13. Thursday, March 28, 2013. Our tank provided us with a happy surprise Wednesday when we discovered 7 more babies in our tank! Unfortunately, we don't know who the mother was this time. We have since put them in the nursery, and we're happy to say that brings our baby guppy count to 9! Hope they all stay healthy! On Monday, we checked our chemical levels and found that after the first dose of Quickstart on Friday, the ammonia level was still 1 ppm, the nitrate level had gone from 5 ppm to 10 ppm, the nitrites had gone from .25 ppm to 2 ppm, the pH had not changed, and the water temperature had decreased to 24 degrees Celsius. AqSci Pri tank 2012-13. Friday, April 19, 2013. Doris' babies are getting so big! One of them has such pretty colors on her! Our other seven babies are still in the nursery, steadily getting bigger. Today, Trevor and the frogs seemed to be really coming out of their shells, swimming around and not hiding. Our water quality was also perfect, so great week! April 19, 2013 at 8:05 PM. The only times our numbers were out of whack was after Christmas because of the holiday feeder and then for a short period of time we had a little algae problem.
