August 13, 2015. Elephant Parade - Turtle and Birds. I squeezed in a little bit more sewing last night before we headed out, and I'm almost done with the blocks for the Elephant Parade QAL that Lorna at Sew Fresh Quilts. Hosted earlier this year. Excuse the pics but it was late when I got a chance to take them. First up is the turtle. Then the aqua bird. And the orange bird. By the way, Lorna has a new quilt along starting in September, the Dog Gone Cute QAL. You need to go check it out as it's way cute!

A Quilting Fool
Where a stitch crazy woman lays them down. Thursday, December 05, 2013. Saturday, October 05, 2013. So, the painters started yesterday. Our colors are simply white for trim, ceiling; ocean air for walls that are next to the windows and sea foam for the rest. Not sure if this pic does it justice. Below are the ones from the Benjamin Moore (because just everyone knows this is the best paint to get - or at least my husband knows) site. Thursday, October 03, 2013. In about 11 days, we will be living here.

A Quilting Mother's Journey
A Quilting Mother's Journey. A blog chronicling my adventures in quilting, sewing, crafting and knitting. Wednesday, February 19, 2014. I finally finished this one. I started it before we moved last year. It's made of vegetable dyed organic cotton fat quarters. They were from Robert Kaufman I think. It measures about 76" x 92". The pattern is Turning 20 Again. I decided on this pattern because I had about 22 of these fat quarters and I really wanted to use them all in one quilt. Thanks for stopping by!
