Recommended Reading – Superforecasting: The Art and Science of Prediction. A quick note on book recommendations:. I’ve been working on reading a book a week this year ( see more here. And thinking how best to share the really good ones. Usually by the time I find the book, there are plenty of reviews out there so I don’t think that another one offers much value. With that, here comes my first recommendation for the year – Superforecasting: The Art and Science of Prediction. Thinking about the future?

Write down the line. Wednesday, August 31, 2011. I have to declare a major? It took me about four hours in an economics class to abandon that career track. What was I thinking? Well, I was good at accounting in high school. Let’s give that a try. I couldn’t get to the counselor’s office fast enough to change my major after completing Accounting 101. What a snoozer. Declared major #3: marketing. They offer advertising classes at this university? Four weeks into the class, I was hooked. We discussed br...

http://getwrite2it.blogspot.com/2012/05/scoreboardno-waitwordwaitforget-it.html

Write down the line. Friday, May 11, 2012. 8230;wait…forget it. I’ve never been hip to slang, street language, urban speak or other forms of non-standard language. Write down the line. Wednesday, May 16, 2012. You can handle the truth. Do you believe everything you read? Do you trust statistics? Do you casually accept the interpretation of surveys and those that report them as unbiased? Could it be because we’ve been mislead too often; burned too many times? It’s disingenuous and it fosters mistrust. So why risk your reputation? Take the high road. Win because your product or service is superior and your customer service puts your competitors to shame. I went into the assemblage loaded for bear because I abhor the idea, belief or notion that marketing can be accomplished without money. Darr; Skip to Main Content. A few things worth saving. My Favorite Books of 2017. I started more books than I finished in 2017. Not sure if this was due to poor choices or just a higher tolerance for cutting loses when a book lost interest. That being said, I read a few that I would highly recommend. Here are my favorites from 2017:. High Performance Habits: How Extraordinary People Become That Way by Brendon Burchard. What’s the Future and Why It’s Up to Us by Tim O’Reilly. Thursday, March 20, 2008. We are done with all the graphics and effects that we need yesterday. Went to hereafter as usual with Tina, done with the flipping book. Had a little problem. The book was a little jerky! WE HAD TO RE-DO! That was quite a big blow on us. We still managed to finish it. Found a suitable audio for the starting. Tried to make the graphics changed according to the music. But Tina was like saying the words came out too funny. She still listens to me as im the editor. Oops sry. =X.
