View my complete profile. Melquíadess first post. Well Worth Your Time. Wednesday, February 01, 2006. A review of "Urban Syndromes". Has a thoughtful post. In the second article in this series, Sanket talks about the "know-all" attitudes of "urban entities." Again, here when he says "urban," I don't see it as merely urban.

At The Risk Of Sounding Naive: July 2009
http://clobberhead.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
At The Risk Of Sounding Naive. Sunday, July 5, 2009. As I sit down to write this post, I feel it would be redundant. Better writers have paid richer tributes to the King of Pop. However for me, the connection I feel with MJ is a deeply personal one. And if I dont pen this down now, I'll always feel I denied an old friend his due. When a friend messaged me the news of his demise, I hoped that it was one of the cruel jokes that the media seemed to play out from time to time. This was no circus performer ei...

At The Risk Of Sounding Naive: October 2008

At The Risk Of Sounding Naive. Sunday, October 26, 2008. Chasing monsoons in Goa. My two month overdue Goa post :. I had always wanted to go back to Goa since my first trip there last year, when I stayed at Anjuna. This time around, we stayed at a place near the Candolim beach. The onward journey was a complete nightmare, owing in part to Bangalore's notorious traffic jams, and a lousy bus, which had no shock absorbers whatsoever. So, so you think you can tell? The flip side of the combination of cheap d...

At The Risk Of Sounding Naive: January 2011

At The Risk Of Sounding Naive. Saturday, January 29, 2011. Does it get better? When does one get past a mundane existence and jump into an exciting one? When does one get past the rigmarole of routine, and start doing the things they really want to do, the things that add meaning, that gives them happiness? The experts say, it takes roughly 10 years of repetitive routine for anyone to become really good at their chosen field. I'm reminded of the starting monologue from Annie Hall. It goes thus:.

At The Risk Of Sounding Naive: September 2008
http://clobberhead.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
At The Risk Of Sounding Naive. Monday, September 29, 2008. Been there, done that. Dressed in black tees, and blue jeans, the two men must've been pushing their late fifties. Both of them sport elegant gold rimmed spectacles. One of them is semi-bald while the other one has managed to keep that damned of all human phenomena at bay. Surprisingly, for their age, both men are refreshingly lean, and have not given way to the corpulence that seems to accumulate with passing years. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

At The Risk Of Sounding Naive: Flashbacks of a Fool
http://clobberhead.blogspot.com/2011/03/flashbacks-of-fool.html
At The Risk Of Sounding Naive. Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Flashbacks of a Fool. If you haven't watched Flashbacks of a Fool, I'd recommend you do. One of my favourite quotes from the movie:. I used to think that the only thing you needed courage for is going forward, and then I learned that the only thing you need courage for is standing still.". The movie reminds me of early adolescence and how it never really stops being part of one's life: friends, notions of romance . Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

At The Risk Of Sounding Naive: November 2008
http://clobberhead.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
At The Risk Of Sounding Naive. Thursday, November 27, 2008. A Vision For Photography. I was reading through the comments of an old interview. On the strobist blog, interviewing the phenomenally talented 17 year old Joey L . One of the comments that stuck me was when someone remarked that Joey's pictures had a singular vision. A vision that seems stamped into each photograph featured on his website. Incredible, take a look! All powerful images, conveying a powerful vision . So, all of this got me thinking.
