Monday, 9 January 2017. Happy New Year and welcome back to a new term and a new year at Ascot International School! The past term was a busy one for our students. Throughout the term the students participated in a variety of activities such as, House Colours Day, Book Week and Clive PiG's visit, Performance Exchange Workshop, KPIS Spelling Bee, U9 TISAC football games, field trips, learning journey conferences. We then used them to describe nature in preparation for our residential. Use mental multiplication and division strategies; find non-unit fractions of 2-digit and 3-digit numbers; find equivalent fractions and use them to simplify fractions (halves, thirds, quarters). Monday, May 25, 2015. Who lives in a house like this. As an intermission from our hammering and sawing, the children learnt about various other types of birds. We have seen a selection of birds from around Thailand provided by our Headteacher Mr Booth. We looked at the way birds move, saw some of the biggest and smallest, and discussed their natural behaviours. We got down to some gluing and painting. Children are provided with a variety of resources and are free to create from their own impressions.
