Marko Polo: Boston
http://markopolo87.blogspot.com/2010/05/boston.html
Filling in the cracks. Friday, May 28, 2010. I'm in New Hampshire right now. My friends and I, you see, decided to trek up north to visit some friends we met through our study abroad experiences who go to UNH. They came and visited us in Springfield, so we thought we'd return the favor. Thus, on Monday we hopped in the car and schlepped 25 straight hours to spend a week in the great Northeast (particularly Boston and New Hampshire). I've got other issues I'd like to blog about soon as I've had some deep ...

Marko Polo: On Being Wild...
http://markopolo87.blogspot.com/2010/02/on-being-wild.html
Filling in the cracks. Tuesday, February 23, 2010. I used to be really passionate about so much in a childlike, simple kind of way. Every day was an adventure which I attacked with vim and vigor. Somehow though, for a myriad of reasons, my life became very calculated. I do most things now because I should do them, or because they're good for me, or because they're safer, but that passion and intensity have somewhat dissipated. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears! Hey Mark, hang in there buddy!

Marko Polo: My Forays into Feminism...
http://markopolo87.blogspot.com/2010/03/my-forays-into-feminism.html
Filling in the cracks. Tuesday, March 9, 2010. My Forays into Feminism. The worst form of inequality is to try to make unequal things equal. March 9, 2010 at 11:52 AM. Critical theories like feminism consist of applied moralities of ressentiment. March 9, 2010 at 11:56 AM. March 9, 2010 at 1:18 PM. Im glad to see the version of this argument that is more finalized than what I glimpsed in Senior Sem. :P Many times I prefer writing about issues as opposed to talking about them, mainly because its so mu...

Marko Polo: Buddhism at Work...
http://markopolo87.blogspot.com/2010/02/buddhism-at-work.html
Filling in the cracks. Thursday, February 25, 2010. Now I don't consider myself a serious Buddhist anymore (don't worry, Walter family), but that doesn't mean that I can't learn a lot from the Buddha and the simple truths he outlines in the Noble Eightfold Path. Let me share with you a bit of my life. This is going to include me sharing some stuff about myself which my family doesn't know, so if you're one of my family members you can either:. Buddhist psychology. Plain and simple. Let me explain. Don't ...

made of sugar, milk, and molasses: It needs to be said.
http://missmememarie.blogspot.com/2011/10/it-needs-to-be-said.html
Made of sugar, milk, and molasses. Sunday, October 30, 2011. It needs to be said. 3 years ago you led me on, made me think I was special, made me completely fall for you, only to suddenly realize, DUH, I was just a rebound. I was 2nd choice. Last winter you led me on, made me think I was special, made me completely fall for you, made me into something I thought I'd NEVER. Do to another woman, but I was still just 2nd choice. You treated me horribly, but you know why I never unfriended you? Excuuuse me, p...

The Pain of Blossoming: Oh, the Places You'll Go!
http://lalalatesa.blogspot.com/2009/08/ch-ch-changes.html
The Pain of Blossoming. Friday, August 28, 2009. Oh, the Places You'll Go! For some hope and inspiration, I defer to Dr. Seuss' Oh, the Places You'll Go! You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself. Any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go. You won’t lag behind, because you’ll have the speed. You’ll pass the whole gang and you’ll soon take the lead. I'm sorry to say so. But, sadly it's true.

The Pain of Blossoming: Walking in Memphis
http://lalalatesa.blogspot.com/2009/09/walking-in-memphis.html
The Pain of Blossoming. Sunday, September 13, 2009. Downtown. No trip to Memphis is complete without getting a burger or something from there. (In truth, I might have went to Memphis to go to Huey's more tha. James and I are on Beale Street in this picture. There's still so many things I want to see and do in Memphis. So that was my Labor Day weekend, and it was great. Then I'm walking in Memphis. Walking with my feet ten feet off of Beale. Posted by The Pain of Blossoming. Miss you. 3. Let it be Lindsey.

The Pain of Blossoming: April 2009
http://lalalatesa.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
The Pain of Blossoming. Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Oh yeah.and World Peace. I've been reading this book called The Faith Club: A Muslim, A Christian, A Jew- Three Women Search for Understanding. I've read enough now to understand how deeply and tragically conflicts evolved between the Jews and the Arabs over time. But I need to have a dream, to believe that place can exist again. Imperfectly and improbably. And I believe that being a dreamer might in fact take more courage than being a cynic. Could I hea...
