Saturday, July 24, 2010. 2 (2 to 3 pound) whole chickens, cut into pieces. 3 cups all-purpose flour. 5 tablespoons seasoned salt. 3 tablespoons garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 eggs, beaten. 1 quart vegetable oil for frying. In a shallow plate or bowl, mix the flour, seasoned salt, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Roll or shake the chicken pieces in the flour mixture and place on a platter. Then dip each chicken piece in the egg and roll again in flour mixture. Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken.

Saturday, July 24, 2010. 1 cup soy sauce. 1/2 cup vegetable oil. 1 tablespoon cooking sherry. 3 tablespoons brown sugar. 3 cloves garlic, crushed. 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves. In a medium bowl, mix soy sauce, vegetable oil, sherry, brown sugar, and garlic. Pour into a large resealable bag. Place chicken in the bag, and shake to coat.
