The Fussycutter: Finishing Up!
http://fussycutter.blogspot.com/2014/06/finishing-up.html
Saturday, June 28, 2014. So here is what I have finished up this week:. I used some Kaffe Fassett reds, purples and greens to make this quilt for my friend, Barbara. She plants the most beautiful seaside flower boxes each summer and I wanted to make her a quilt that reflected that beauty and hope that she can take it back to California during the winter, non-Maine months in remembrance of our Summers together. The backing fabric looks just like her boxes. Labels: Black and White. Film in the Fridge,.

The Fussycutter: July 2013
http://fussycutter.blogspot.com/2013/07/july-2013.html
Wednesday, July 31, 2013. First, I fixed some handles that were not initially sewed up properly on the Anna Maria Horner Multi-Task Bag. I love Etsuko Furyara's birds and polka dots! I finished Amy Butler's Sunday Sling. I changed the handles a bit because I tend to carry large loads and I thought the ties on the top might hurt my shoulder blades. It is fun and colorful for hot summer days! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I have been so inspired by reading blogs by. Film in the Fridge,. The “it...

The Fussycutter: New Year's Resolution
http://fussycutter.blogspot.com/2013/12/new-years-resolution.html
Monday, December 30, 2013. Well, I thought my only New Year's resolution was going to be to drop 10 pounds, but my friend, Sharon has encouraged me to add blogging to my list. She recently twittered about my Fussycutter blog, which is embarrassing since I haven't written anything for 6 months! So here I am, ready to add in the new creations I have been working on during this holiday season. The first creation pales next to its recipient-the amazingly gorgeous Evelyn DiNicola! Ok must stop writing now so ...

The Fussycutter: April 2013
http://fussycutter.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 17, 2013. I have been working on a quilt for a very special person who is marrying in September. She told me once that she was looking for something muted for bed linens. I am not drawn to muted generally speaking and so I had lots of help from fans of muted tones to choose these colors to make Denyse Schmidt's pattern, Shoeman's Puzzle. At Denyse's suggestions in her book,. Modern Quilts, Traditional Inspiration,. Quilted it with their long arm. I hope my bride friend likes it! I have b...

The Fussycutter: April 2012
http://fussycutter.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 26, 2012. Well, I finally finished my Swoon quilt. I can't seem to get over using Anna Maria Horner's Loulouthi in quilts. The patterns and colors unexpectedly work and they make me so happy. This quilt has alot of mistakes in it! But, it looks great if you don't examine it too closely! It is Spring Break for me and I have been huddled inside with the stinky doggies for a week of cold rain and sleet and snow! Monday, April 9, 2012. Urban Cowgirls meet Yellow Brick Road.
