The first thing I learned: how to spell c-e-s-a-r-e-a-n. It's not Ceasarean, as I had assumed. Wasn't Ceasar birthed by c-section? We were each given babies that looked like this:. What's wrong with this baby? Hmmm from the expression, who could tell? Other good information gathered: how to decode baby's cries using the Dunstan Baby Language System, baby bottles, pacifiers, infant choking, signs of an unhappy baby and techniques to calm. We got an u/s because I asked the doctor about her positioning and he said, "hey, do you want an ultrasound? I was so excited, I wasn't expecting to get to see her this visit! At first Lane was reluctant and said to me "mom you know he isn't real he's a stuffed doll" by the end of Christmas he was totally bought into Frosty! Now he will tell me he wishes he would return for a visit! Something we've done for a few years now as a little family is drive around looking at lights! Lane slept until 8am on Christmas morning!

Saturday, January 11, 2014. My latest diaper cake creation! I made this "Woodland Creatures" diaper cake for my sister-in-law, Sarah's, baby shower. I made a mini forest to go along with the actual cake. They are having a girl so I added a tutu and bows to make it more girly. It was fun to make! On Wednesday, we will be 29 weeks pregnant. The time really has flown by and I almost don't notice it until I realize it's time for another belly shot. There’ve been a lot of changes to this Surrey garden over the last year; taking down longstanding trees and structures and replacing them with more personal plants, vegetables and a soon-to-come greenhouse!
