Follow our adventures with two little boys and a baby girl on the way! Thursday, April 23, 2015. On day 1 of 100 days I am grateful for unexpected lunch dates. Today, I took Georgie and Lucy out to lunch at Wegmans. We sat at the counter and I noticed the joy the kids had eating their sugar cookies. They savored every bite! Lucy opens her mouth so big to eat a cookie that her head actually shakes! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Art that makes me tingle. Let the Tide Pull Your Dreams Ashore. A Tale of Grace.

The Mc's: January 2013
http://mcclendons.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 17, 2013. We needed to get out of the house this morning so we went to my parent’s house to play and watch the snow begin to fall. Watching the snow fall on the sofa with Oma. The snow was picking up so we decided it was best to head on home. William was not a fan. The snow was falling pretty hard and he did not like it in his face. When we got home he told me he was just going to play inside the rest of the day. Time to go in and warm up! We have had lots of rainy days the past couple ...

Sunday, August 26, 2012. Visit to the Zoo. We have been trying to enjoy our last few weeks of summer as much as we can. The other morning we decided on a last minute trip to the zoo. We NEVER see the orangutans active. Every time we visit the zoo they are up in the trees sleeping. We were excited to find the daddy orangutan out and playing. We must have stayed at the exhibit for 30 minutes watching him. After our morning outing to see the trains we headed up to my parents lake for the afternoon. William ...

My company has a policy whereby if you are involved in winning business for another department you are entitled to claim some portion of the fee the company earns. They call it a cross-sell commission. About eighteen months ago I was involved in one of these transactions but had heard nothing of it in so long that I assumed that the fee hadn’t been big enough to qualify.

A Moveable Féasta: Is this a trap?
http://moveablefeasta.blogspot.com/2010/12/is-this-trap.html
Who is Paddy K? Friday, December 10, 2010. Is this a trap? Challenge, there aren't many long trips possible in Ireland. I posted a few months ago. So maybe all the Christmas spirit helped me with my post-vacation adjustment back to "real life" or maybe this vacation was just the right length, a week. Enough time with family and old friends enjoying one of my favorite American holidays to feel refreshed, but not so long that I begin to delude myself into thinking that the vacation is a lifestyle. Which co...

Outnumbered by three...: December 2011
http://outnumberedva.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Follow our adventures with two little boys and a baby girl on the way! Friday, December 30, 2011. Today, we did the unthinkable and kept our kiddos awake during nap time to check out the trains at the Botanical Gardens so we could take advantage of the last of this year's Christmas events. We had a blast and the boys loved it. I had never been to the Botanical Gardens and while it is not a huge place, I have to say it is pretty amazing. Before the trains. Stephen and his smiley face. Big shoes to fill.
