Our Aussie/Kiwi Experience

Monday, September 13, 2010. Engagement Blog - Part 3. Charlie had me worried every time he left for a jog. Whether we were in Sydney, New Zealand, or Tasmania, his long jogs left me pacing our tiny hotel room. He didn't know his way around very well, the traffic was crazy, and the people can be a little scary. So every time he walked in the door, I was relieved. but also a little aggravated. 1 An evening cruise in Sydney Harbour. 2 The Harbour Bridge Climb at twilight. Talk about deflating some his tires!

Our Aussie/Kiwi Experience: December 2009

http://aussiewalkabout.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html

Tuesday, December 29, 2009. A Wicked Boxing Day. Soooooo chocolately and heavently =). Then we grabbed a cab to Capital Theater for Wicked. http:/ www.wickedthemusical.com.au/. Charlie bought be tickets for the show for Christmas. It was a fabulous show and I highly recommend anyone to see it, even you've read the book or not. The musical is VERY different from the book. But still great, the acting, singing and sets were amazing! But unless you have these awesome glasses its just not as good! This place ...

http://aussiewalkabout.blogspot.com/2010/04/engagement-blog-part-1.html

Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Engagement Blog – Part 1:. Before Australia, while we were firmly entrenched in our Massachusetts lives, we had a standing date every Sunday morning at Bruegger’s Bagels in Natick. We would each get a delicious bagel and split a large iced coffee with skim milk. We would sit at a large table and we would plan for Australia. Usually in those tense moments, when the irreversible consequences of what we were about to do weighed heavily in the pit our stomachs, we would stop and just...

http://aussiewalkabout.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html

Friday, February 19, 2010. The Arrival of Johnny Kid. How we got here:. Johnny telling his story:. We solemnly carried my sole piece of luggage to the room and began to assess the situation. It became apparent that there was little we could do so we got ourselves ready and Charlie and Jean took me to The Bog (an Irish restaurant and pub in Christchurch). It was there that I told them about my journey. As we approached the baggage claim window, my eyes lit up and I whispered to Charlie “watch this &...

Travelling around Australia with a dog

Travelling around Australia with a dog. We are facing the challenges of travelling around Australia with a dog in tow - and not some little lap dog either - an adrenaline-pumped cattle dog who loves getting into trouble! We also have an old, clapped out caravan that is threatening to fall apart around our ears at any moment, but we still have a bundle of fun! Monday, July 16, 2018. We are currently in Brisbane, staying with family, and Ross is starting on Friday with Harvey Norman in Loganholme, just for...

Aaahhh...Life...

Sunday, November 22, 2009. New life, new struggles, new hopes. Ok This crazy year is almost over and I can tell you, this has got to be the craziest year of my life so far! I have also been on a roller coaster with the boy issues. The love of my life is still my friend and we have remained in contact. He doesn't seem to know what he wants so he shuts me out or he wants my company so he calls me. It's driving me insane. Posted by aussie wannabe. Monday, March 16, 2009. Life is a cycle. I'd like to think so.
