Saturday, September 22, 2012. The leaves are in full colour and fall has arrived in the mountains but the sun keeps shinning as if it were still the middle of August. It's been glorious. Last week we took the canoe out to Upper Kananaskis Lake for what was probably our last paddle of the season. The boys had fun playing on the stumps.and I had fun taking their pictures. Monday, October 29, 2012. I thought I should dedicate a post to a few of my favourite works of art that my little guys have created recently. It's so great to watch them develop through their creativity. I get excited when I see something new in their scribbles or as I watch the way they explore the feeling of paint between their fingers. Saturday, June 30, 2012. This week we went looking for duckies in the pond. The boys were calling for them and I don't know how those ducks didn't hear them. "Duuuukieeees! Casey left Liam right. Just waitin' for those darn ducks. This week the boys got to hang out with one of their favourite friends, Chloe. Liam left Casey right. This week we took a walk down Cougar Creek and Liam insisted on taking the leash. Casey with his baby. Liam doing the fireman carry. Devouring strawberries from the market.

Sunday, March 8, 2015. It was a beautiful spring-like day today and although it was like pulling teeth to get these boys out the door, we finally did and it was worth it! I took them up Grotto Canyon to explore some new ground. They've been there before but not for quite some time so it was all fresh and exciting for them. I was inspired to blog today after making this super cute craft with casey this afternoon.it's been a while since I've posted anything but maybe this will be my way of getting back into it again! I recently painted the boys room and today I added a little finishing touch by creating a special wall to hang their artwork. Saturday, July 26, 2014. Did you know that since Liam and Casey turned four years old, they can do anything in whole wide world? Yep, it's true. They can even hike to the tip top of a mountain with their own two feet. They may have to stop along the way for a little drink. And a little pooh. But they did it! Saturday, May 18, 2013. On a family mission to Canadian Tire to buy a cooler we ended up leaving the store with not only a sweet new cooler for our picnic but two new fishing rods for two excited little fisherman. Off to Johnson Lake to catch some fish. Liam was catching "Nemo". And Casey was catching lizards! That was hard work, time to relax. Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Little Taste of Summer (in Spring). To make a day. Chronicling my attempts to make something (new) each day. Thursday, April 25, 2013. With a few everyday projects on the go - draining yogurt for yogurt cream (an easy alternative to marscapone), a new bread recipe rising, leftover blown eggs from Easter drying, while felted sweaters are shrinking down further in the washing machine for a new batch of floor baskets.
