In June 2006, I decided to leave my job as Director of Product Development for a medical device company. After five years of splitting myself in two I decided to be a stay at home mom. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and "Brain Games" - TV show rec. Aug 17th, 2014 at 6:44 PM. This year we started watching a really neat show on the NatGeo Channel: Brain Games (here's a link: http:/ braingames.nationalgeographic.co. We also see areas where Ethan's performance is just like the majority of people (they'll often quote stats like 70% or 80% of people will etc.) It's fascinating and I think provides a real learning experience for him (and all of us). Long term goal is now short term goal. lots to do. Aug 5th, 2016 at 9:30 AM. Summer flew by. some of that is due to the fact that Ethan starts school Aug 9th, which seems absurdly early. The school likes to have finals before the December break. Personally, I wish they'd shorten that bread from 2 weeks to 1 week and start school a week later, but I guess I'm in the minority on that. He's happy, healthy, just got his braces off, and is ready for sophomore year. Wow, 9th grade done and it's summer vacation.
