Thursday, March 06, 2014. Last Day at the Happiest Place on Earth. It looks just like the movie. Even with the blinking yellow light in the center of town. The guys rushed into the park as quick as they could to get on the Cars Ride while the girls did all of the smaller rides with the little ones. They waited over an hour to ride and got passes for the rest of us to go. It was a pretty sweet deal. We only had to wait around 20 minutes. We met up after for some much needed sweet treats! Tuesday, January 15, 2013. We’ve never liked the dull gray/white carpet in this room. Or the. Floral wallpaper. So, one Wednesday afternoon near the end of August, Matt decided he wanted to see what the floor looked like underneath. It turned out to be a pretty big job getting all that carpet up. Because of the roundness of the room, there were tack strips and staples along every inch to try to keep the carpet straight. The inside of the fireplace has some pretty special bricks ;). Sunday, July 01, 2012. Mother’s Day Weekend. For Mother’s Day this year we went to Dan and Jessica’s. We’re so grateful to have family within a few hours’ drive. And Lily talks about going to “Tessie – house” all the time. I can’t tell if she’s saying “Sophie” or “Tessa” or both slurred into one. We took Lily’s cardboard playhouse to let the girls add their decorative touches to it. They were loving it! And Lily loved playing with different toys for a change. Cute, Silly Girlies! Thursday, May 31, 2012. A House of her Own. A random trip to Tuesday Morning resulted in a cardboard playhouse for Lily. Matt stayed up late getting it all set up and coloring one side. Needless to say, she LOVES it! She put her own artistic touches to it. Just beautiful. Within minutes, she was already trying to climb out the window!
