Brooke Everett - About

All consumed by the process of making, I have to make everyday. I’m fascinated by and constantly exploring the emotional link jewellery has to its wearer, and how this link varies from one individual to another. I find inspiration and comfort in the familiar, choosing to make objects that are loved for their permanence and future history. . The view from my Ninth Floor Studio Window.

Babbling Beka

Wednesday, June 15, 2011. I wish I could walk home from work. So, I had a great day at work to day. Then I got stuck in traffic for 2 hours on the way home. Traffic here is horrible! As I was thinking, "I wish that I could just walk home," this song came on the radio. I just laughed and cranked up the radio and sang at the top of my lungs. And after that, my horrible commute was just not as horrible. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did! Sunday, June 12, 2011. So to record my life as it happens:. Anywa...

Book Review: We Were Liars. February 20, 2017. I do love this book overall. The strength of the novel is no doubt the shocking and harrowing ending which nobody will predict. Even if the book isn’t your cup of tea, reading until the end is so worth it. Everything about ‘that summer’ is revealed, and it is jarring. Lockhart also uses fairytale stories which mimic the action on Beechwood Island which I adore. New Year’s Resolutions. January 2, 2017. January 3, 2017. How crazy is that? Yeah well, guess what?

Babbling Birk Barks ....again

Babbling Birk Barks .again. Discussing every day stuff and the shit that bugs me. Tuesday, April 24, 2012. Looking back at the late 2011 post on facebook today, I realized that I was in a funky place. Normally I wouldn't venture to old post to just see what I wrote, but it was brought to my attention from a good friend. She told me that even though I am the same person, my actions and words were so very different now then that place I was in months ago. Here's to the next 8 months. Posted by birk babbles.
