Wednesday, March 30, 2005. I had intended for my first cooking post to be on my mother's "Famous Boneless Turkey". But the computer that has the pictures for it lobotomized itself and so I am doing pickled eggs instead. My husband found the recipe on Mostly Cajun. And decided he wanted to try it. Tuesday, May 31, 2005. Eggs, eggs, eggs. In the fridge we have sitting 90 eggs ready to boil and pickle. Well technically not ready. My wife was informed that eggs that have sat in the fridge for a week peal faster after they are boiled. Traditionally speaking (in my own personal opinion of course) I smell summer when I get a whiff of freshly cut grass. Today I'd like to induct a few more favorite smells that for me will always = summer. 3 Barbecue. My all-time favorite food.
