Shannon Gaffney, a first year student at Thomas Aquinas College, was at Angela's side for over 2 hours in the ravine, after Angela fell, waiting for the rescue team, helicopter and paramedics. Dear Mr. and Mrs. Baird and Family,. We can ask so many questions; I have already, as I am sure you have at least been tempted to. On November 5, 1997, our dear daughter and sister Angela slipped from a mountain trail and over a cliff while hiking with her classmates at Thomas Aquinas College.
