Life with the Baker Family

Life with the Baker Family. Thursday, September 20, 2012. Then Leah got Trindon's cold. Then this week Phil got some serious stomach bug and passed it on to the rest of us.that's an ongoing issue with the kids right now and we're just hoping to avoid any more trips to the pediatrician. And I didn't even mention this nasty bump on Leah's head. On a more positive note - Leah rode in the Durant Homecoming parade with Hadley and some other girls from her dance class. Life with the Baker Family: June 2012

http://www.bakerfamily-2000.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html

Life with the Baker Family. Sunday, June 10, 2012. June 2012 - Part 1. The month of June is already a third of the way gone! Time is going by soooo fast and these kids are growing up too fast. What mornings in our house look like. Both the kids like to sit up on the counter and hang out while Phil makes a peanut butter muffin. Leah usually comes to our room asking for her juice and "bitamins" at about 7 or a little after. She loves to get a peanut butter spoon in the mornings too! Leah turned three on Ju...

Life with the Baker Family. Friday, April 27, 2012. He kissed a pig! The hospital did a fund raiser called "kiss the pig". Jars with various people's pictures on them were placed around the hospital to raise money for Relay for Life. The person who ended up with the most money in their jar had to kiss a pig. Phil ended up winning so we went to the hospital to watch him kiss the pig! Wednesday, April 25, 2012. What a difference a couple of years make. Another lesson learned, kites don't last very long!

Life with the Baker Family. Friday, August 31, 2012. We took a weekend trip to DFW as a last hurrah to summer , and before college football begins controlling the family schedule for the remainder of the year. We took Trindon to his very first baseball game and he had a blast. We would love to try to get to all the baseball stadiums in the country as a family. Ballpark in Arlington - check. Life with the Baker Family: December 2011

http://www.bakerfamily-2000.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html

Life with the Baker Family. Thursday, December 29, 2011. Trindon has been waking up from his naps with the craziest hair. I'm not sure what he's doing in his crib to cause this, but it's funny. I didn't do anything to his hair after getting him up, but of course I combed it after I took a picture! Santa made it to the Baker house this year! Trindon got a stuffed elephant for his crib that is the same brand as Leah's giraffee, maybe he will quit coveting her giraffee now. Kids wanting other kids toys ...

Sunday, June 24, 2012. 500 New Dental Clients. 23 May 2012 - The Dental Clinic received a request from Alcalde Arzu (Mayor of Guatemala) and his wife to include three new orphanages to our dental program. After he finished, the principal said a prayer thanking us for taking care of these children and blessed us for our endeavors of giving service to those in need. The Baker Family

Passion. Purity. Purpose. Sunday, September 11, 2011. Today is the 10th anniversary of 9/11. It was a sad day that I will never forget. Same kind of sadness and shock as the OKC bombing. I will never forget where I was and what circumstances were in my life the day it happened. Even though they were different places, days and issues, one thing has been constant.God is in control. Now, if I wasn't sure of my salvation and my eternity with Christ, that would scare the life out of me. He wants us to be ...

The Bakers

Friday, June 22, 2007. After traveling to Beijing, we returned to Shanghai for some final packing and prep for our return to the US. After a 14 hour flight to Chicago and a 7 1/2 hour layover we finally made it home. The return home was bitter sweet but the comforts of home are better than we thought they would be. The first time I drove a car in over a month was awesome - total control! He has worked very hard to get to this point and I'm proud of him. Tuesday, June 19, 2007. To end our final evening in...
