Baking As Therapy: Flatbread

http://bakingastherapy.blogspot.com/2011/03/flatbread.html

Monday, March 28, 2011. Can I show you one of my favorite things to make on the weekend? Flatbread. It's from a fantastic book called Good to the Grain. By Kim Boyce and words cannot describe how good it is. You'll simply have to try it yourself. After all the whole rising process is complete and out of the way, this is what you start with. Roll it out to about 1/4". After a couple minutes in the pan, the top side will start to bubble up. That's your sign to flip it. Is that perfection or what? I found s...

Wednesday, September 15, 2010. Apple Cake.Williams-Sonoma Style. The weather has taken a huge turn for the better, the kids are back in school, and guess what? The apples are back! Oh, how I love the apples. Everyone, meet Apple Cake. Apple Cake, this is everyone. This was a perfect fall treat. Delicious with tea, but then again, I eat all desserts with tea. Monday, March 21, 2011. Chicken Noodle. my way. I know it's spring, but April will bring lots of rainy days. days perfect for soup. Chicken Noodle is one of our favorites. I had half a red onion left over from the tabbouleh, so in it went. One rotisserie chicken from the grocery store. Our local grocery store has one that they call 'Caribbean Lime'. I got that one. Happiness | Umbrellas & Tea

https://stjernesolblog.wordpress.com/2011/09/13/happiness

And a whole lot more to see…. September 13, 2011. Happiness is such a difficult term. What IS happiness? Is it having 2 children, the person that you love and a big house? Is it having the perfect career and a highly successful job? Maybe being rich makes you happier? Or having the latest in fashion clothes, cars and technical equipment? Or is it just a feeling inside your heart and soul, that can be triggered by any of the things above? I’m not sure there is an answer. A big cup of tea, after a long day.

A new moon combined with this years most heavy rainfall and the biggest tide, means trouble – big trouble. The pictures I am not so happy about eighter. Well I blame the windy weather, the rain and lack of light and the fact that I was trying to hold an umbrella to keep my camera dry. And posted in Uncategorized.

Autumn Mood | Umbrellas & Tea

https://stjernesolblog.wordpress.com/2011/09/09/autumn-mood

And a whole lot more to see…. September 9, 2011. I hate to admit it, but autumn is actually here. Day by day the air gets colder, the wind feels more chilling and the colours changes… And up north here in Norway, we are loosing daylight and the summernights with light 24/7 are once again, all gone! I like it warm, actually I like it hot. So warm that you have to wipe your forehead from sweat and the sun feels like it can boil an egg. I must be born on the wrong side of this planet…. Granted, most of them were store-bought (A.K.A hard and funny tasting,) but I was a little sceptical of this challenge.
