NEW! Favorite Sugar Cookies | Baking Blue
https://bakingblue.wordpress.com/new-favorite-sugar-cookie
Having fun with sugar cookies! I have a NEW favorite sugar cookie dough recipe. This recipe comes from “The Adventures of Sweet Sugarbelle” who is an amazing sugar cookie maker! She can be found under my LINKS page. What I LOVED about her sugar cookie recipe is that after mixing the dough, it is ready to roll out (in other words, NO NEED to refrigerate the dough for two hours)! Such a time saver! Sugarbelle’s sugar cookie recipe can be found HERE. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Having fun with sugar cookies! Okay, I had some extra Christmas sugar cookies that I put in the freezer to ice another day. Well, when I did the cupcakes, I used the leftover icing and decided to do non-traditional Christmas colors for these cookies. These were really fun too! Posted on June 8, 2013. Having fun with sugar cookies! I really like the Grandma’s All Occasion Sugar Cookies from Dorie Greenspan. I have no idea how I came upon this recipe, but any recipe title with the words “grandma and cookie” in it HAS to be GOOD! These cookies taste YUMMY and they still hold their shape well. GRANDMA’S ALL-OCCASION SUGAR COOKIES. Makes about 50 cookies (depending on diameter). 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon double-acting baking powder. 1 large egg yolk. 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract.

The Wright Family: February 2013

Sunday, February 10, 2013. Last week I had my older boys strip their beds so I could change their bedding. They did it with out complaining. Before I knew it, my younger twins started bothering me about changing their bedding, too. According to them it wasn't "fair" that they didn't get new sheets on their beds, too. This seemed a little odd to me. When have the kids ever cared about getting clean sheets on their beds? My clever little kids kept saying they were para"sheet"ing! I love my creative kids!

Thursday, March 29, 2012. Its that time of year again. The weather is nice. The kids are ready to play outside. The temperatures have been mild in the mornings and the kids can't help but hop on their bikes and start riding them around the driveway and into the garage all while in their pajamas. They've got a make-shift race track they've created. Their track includes lanes and a pit area. Yay for nice weather! Thursday, March 15, 2012. Friday, December 30, 2011. We celebrated our family Christmas this year the evening of the 22nd. We were no longer puking at our house so that was good. We went out for dinner then came home to open Christmas presents. My husband joked that is was an expensive meal since only two out of the six people ate. Our stomachs still weren't right. The kids loved having what they call fake Christmas. We all got nice things. On Christmas day we went to my parents house. My mom had her extended family over for ...

Baking Cookies, Brownies and more! Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. January 1, 2013. While going through my Google Reader, a recipe caught my eye. Pecan Pie Brownies? Yum, I love nuts and our Kentucky Derby Pie. Which has similar ingredients, was awesome. I did cheat and use a boxed brownie mix as the base, Ghiraradelli since they taste the most homemade in my opinion. These came together in a snap and I was enjoying a nice warm brownie in no time. Maybe bourbon, maple syrup? Preheat t...

How did I do such a thing you may ask? Well it was simple, and also amazingly fun. I used the gel food coloring, Ive heard nifty things about it, and it proved to be true! Tuesday, May 25, 2010.

Nigella’s Coca Cola Cupcakes. March 18, 2012 — bakingbluefinger. Lately everywhere I go, everywhere I look I see Coca Cola Cake…. The latest one I saw on Sabina kookt! Growing up I only used to (and basically still do) drink Pepsi, so it was against my basic principle. Intrigued by the idea of putting cola into cake and convinced that I had to use Coca Cola (why else would the cake have been named Coca Cola Cake? Baking Bohemian | sharing my family's love for food
Sharing my family's love for food. May 27, 2014. I think the last time I ate Maltezers I was probably 12 years old out at the movies with a bunch of friends. We thought it was hilarious tossing them down the old wooden steps, much to the irritation of all the adults in the theatre. So with such silly memories awakened when I came upon this recipe I just had to give it a go. These muffins are rich in flavour and moist and light in texture. Very more-ish! 150g malted chocolate balls (such as Maltesers).
