LIFE WITH LULU: December 2012
http://lifewithlulu-jean.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
A little scrapbook of life with our standard poodle, Lulu. December 19, 2012. Lulu got herself all tangled up the other afternoon. I was busy chatting to a neighbour in the lane and Lulu amused herself by investigating the nearby hedge bottom. I heard her squeal and saw that she had a bit of bramble stuck in the fur on one ear. I attempted to gently pull the bramble out of the fur on her ears but she squealed and shook her head so much that the bramble ended up stuck to both ears and the fur on her neck!

LIFE WITH LULU: February 2014
http://lifewithlulu-jean.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
A little scrapbook of life with our standard poodle, Lulu. February 23, 2014. LULU’S NEW BEDROOM. We have done a lot of clearing out in the house because we are going to sell it. The little bedroom was full of bookcases and was used as a study. . Now most of the bookcases are gone and Lulu uses it as her bedroom! 160; She seems to like it in there and settled down as soon as we moved her bed in. Her snoring will be less noticeable than when she had her bed on the landing too, so we’re all happy!

LIFE WITH LULU: July 2014
http://lifewithlulu-jean.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
A little scrapbook of life with our standard poodle, Lulu. July 17, 2014. Lulu appreciates leftovers as much as anyone. Who doesn’t love getting at the brown, crozzled edges of a good shepherd’s pie or cauliflower cheese? Mind you, not all of us have to have a clip put in our ears to stop them from getting sticky! Luckily, Lulu doesn’t seem to mind one bit. It’s worth looking like a daft poodle to get at those crozzled edges. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Much easier, we thought.

LIFE WITH LULU: ONE MAN AND HIS DOG
http://lifewithlulu-jean.blogspot.com/2013/12/one-man-and-his-dog.html
A little scrapbook of life with our standard poodle, Lulu. December 15, 2013. ONE MAN AND HIS DOG. Lulu is without a doubt a lovely dog. She has such a good nature. She is a delight to have as company when Nick is working away from home but she definitely misses her dad. If he is away for a week she spends the first three days looking for him everywhere. We cuddle on the sofa but I can sense that all the time she is wondering when he’s going to come through the door. December 16, 2013 at 12:07 AM.

LIFE WITH LULU: June 2013
http://lifewithlulu-jean.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
A little scrapbook of life with our standard poodle, Lulu. June 10, 2013. LULU AND THE FROG CHORUS. It was a nice day so we went for a walk in the forest of Preuilly. We parked by the lake and the noise of the frogs was quite deafening. We had a lovely long walk, about an hour altogether, and most of it was in shade so we didn’t get too hot. So although it was nice to walk in the forest, I think we’ll leave Lulu at home if we go again in summer, which is a shame. . Links to this post. Top of the pops.

LIFE WITH LULU: IN THE BEGINNING
http://lifewithlulu-jean.blogspot.com/2009/09/in-beginning.html
A little scrapbook of life with our standard poodle, Lulu. September 28, 2009. Lulu arrives at her new home. In the mid 1980's some friends had two black standard poodles and I always thought what wonderful dogs they were. One day the local vet asked them if they could manage another one, a chocolate male who was currently at the RSPCA. They said no, but they knew someone who might. Looking after an elderly dog and having to have him put to sleep was an unhappy experience. We thought we couldn't face...

A BOX OF BEADS: PINK HEART NECKLACE
http://aboxofbeads.blogspot.com/2013/08/pink-heart-necklace.html
A BOX OF BEADS. Sunday, August 25, 2013. Time for beading has been short lately. Even though I am now retired I seem busier than ever. Most people say that’s what happens when you retire – you wonder how you ever had the time to go to work! I had promised some jewellery to blogger John Gray for his allotment open day, so I had a quick rummage in the bead box, spotted this lovely pink stone bead and made it into a necklace.
