baking with style: Birthday party!
http://bakingwithstyledesserts.blogspot.com/2012/03/birthday-party.html
All things baked, combining style with desserts. Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Recently, I celebrated my dearest friend, Janet Mock's. I also realized after making a few rounds of cakes and cupcakes that the addition of buttermilk helps with the moistness of the cake. It truly makes a difference. Bake these cupcakes the next time you have a birthday party or any party! I'm sure they will be a huge hit! 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter. 2 cups cake flour. 1 tsp baking soda. 1 1/3 cup granulated sugar.

All things baked, combining style with desserts. Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Some time has passed since my last post and I really wanted to create something personal. And I think I got it right. baking with style: A Stylish Twist
http://bakingwithstyledesserts.blogspot.com/2011/12/stylish-twist.html
All things baked, combining style with desserts. Tuesday, December 13, 2011. I love it when you can take something simple and traditional by putting a spin on it. Just like in fashion, many people twist their own style so why not in baking. I certainly think it can be done. Since it's cold outside, my latest style twist is combining a simple wool sweater tunic and pairing it with printed tights - whether it's flowers, geometric shapes or an animal print. Pick what suits your personality! Spiced Carrot Ca...

baking with style: November 2011
http://bakingwithstyledesserts.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
All things baked, combining style with desserts. Tuesday, November 29, 2011. When it comes to baking there are many moving parts involved. It's not just the ingredients in your recipe but it's the tools used that make everything work. When I initially started out baking I only had a hand held whisk and a cookie sheet. I moved up to a hand mixer which made life a lot easier. Then for Christmas about a year ago, I received my very first KitchenAid. Go check 'em out! Wednesday, November 23, 2011. One of my ...

I have recently discovered I can have dairy again with out its ill effects. Thus changing my blog dynamic of being dairy free. My apologies to those you may read my blog.
