So I had a hard time sleeping on Friday night. It kind of went like this: . 10 pm - toss and turn fitfully for about an hour. . 11:15 pm - fall asleep. 11:45 pm - wake up, toss and turn in a vain effort to sleep. . 1:30 am - fall asleep again. . 2 am - wake up, again tossing and turning for about an hour. This is so exciting!

I also realized after making a few rounds of cakes and cupcakes that the addition of buttermilk helps with the moistness of the cake. It truly makes a difference. Bake these cupcakes the next time you have a birthday party or any party! I'm sure they will be a huge hit! 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter. 2 cups cake flour. 1 tsp baking soda. 1 1/3 cup granulated sugar.
