Monday, January 25, 2010. We've been in the process of purchasing the above home for about a month, and now it's finally ours! We moved in the following day, which was surprisingly manageable since we decided for once to spring for some professional movers. What a inspired idea that was! Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Soul Food - the "Vibe". So I was was thinking about how to put into words all that goes through my mind. Not all the minute details, but to flow of it - the vibe. The purpose being to explore, understand, heal, grow. Hence the blog title "Soul Food". I've been using that word a LOT lately - 'vibe'. It seems so succinct. One of those "nuff said" words. Because for a truth defender, there's never a day off. And I get worn down sometimes. Truth that I have a chance to honor now.

Friday, July 16, 2010. This year we celebrated the forth of july on the 3rd since the 4th was on a Sunday. We went to the park and had a yummy bbq, played soccer and water balloon games and then went home to light a few fireworks. We had a great time celebrating together! Let the games begin! So, the last few days have been a bit rough for me. I think I've had a bit of a relapse into my depressed, angry, sad self who can't understand why I don't get to have a baby.
